The Axxanol™ A35 family includes both oil-based and solvent-based corrosion preventative formulations that provide protection ranging from short-term in-process coverage to extended indoor storage protection. Designed for versatility, it provides reliable protection for metal components without leaving stains or heavy residue.

ZERUST® Axxanol™ A35 non-staining rust preventative is engineered to protect metal parts while maintaining a clean surface appearance. After application, it forms a thin, transparent film that provides an effective barrier against moisture, humidity, and corrosive elements without discoloring the metal surface.

The Axxanol™ A35 product range available in India includes multiple formulations to match specific application and performance needs:

  • Axxanol™ A35CD-7 provides excellent dewatering properties and leaves a dry-to-touch, non-staining film, making it ideal for in-process protection and shorter-term storage.
  • Axxanol™ A35CD-32 delivers longer-term protection with a clear, near dry-to-touch coating suitable for aggressive environments such as humidity and salt exposure.
  • Axxanol™ I35CD-8 forms a thin, dry-to-touch, non-staining film that eliminates oily residue while providing dependable corrosion protection for metal components and assemblies.

All variations are designed to protect metal components such as machined parts, castings, engines, molds, and assemblies during shipment, storage, and work-in-progress. Depending on the formulation, protection can range from short-term in-process coverage to extended indoor storage.

For enhanced corrosion protection, especially in export or high-humidity environments, this non-staining rust preventative can be used in combination with ZERUST® VCI film packaging. This layered approach helps protect parts for extended periods during storage and global transport.

A35 Oil is compatible with most engine oil lubricants, allowing flexibility in downstream operations. If removal is required, it can be cleaned using ZERUST® AxxaWash™ cleaners or other suitable alkaline or solvent-based cleaning systems.

ZERUST® Axxanol™ A35 products do not intentionally contain barium or heavy metals and are designed to meet global environmental and regulatory standards, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

  • Spray application: Do not reuse collected product from spray booths or drip pans
  • Immersion application: For extended dip tank use, contact your ZERUST®/EXCOR® account representative
  • Brush-on application: Use a natural bristle brush and decant product into a smaller working container
  • Do not reuse product or contaminate the original container with the brush

  • Spray application: Do not reuse collected product from spray booths or drip pans
  • Immersion application: For extended dip tank use, contact your ZERUST®/EXCOR® account representative

General Best Practices:

  • Ensure parts are clean and dry prior to application
  • Avoid introducing contaminants such as dirt or moisture into the product
  • Allow adequate drying time where applicable to achieve the intended protective film
