ZERUST® Poly Laminated VCI paper combines corrosion protection with enhanced durability. This acid-free, pH-neutral kraft paper is laminated with a polyethylene layer to improve moisture resistance and tear strength, making it an efficient solution for protecting metals during storage, shipping, and work-in-progress.
ZERUST® Poly Laminated VCI Paper is engineered to provide both mechanical protection and corrosion inhibition in one packaging material. The kraft paper is sourced from responsibly managed forestry products and is treated with ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology. These invisible, odorless molecules diffuse from the paper and form a protective layer on exposed metal surfaces within the enclosed space.
The added polyethylene layer enhances the paper’s resistance to moisture and handling damage, making it especially effective in applications where standard paper may not provide sufficient durability. This combination allows the product to protect metal components from both environmental exposure and physical wear during packaging and transport.
For best performance, this laminated VCI paper should be applied with the treated paper side facing the metal surface when wrapping or interleaving parts. It is suitable for protecting a wide range of components, including machined parts, fabricated assemblies, and layered metal stacks.
In more demanding environments, ZERUST® Poly Laminated VCI Paper can be used alongside ZERUST® VCI films, rust preventatives, coatings, or VCI diffuser products to enhance overall corrosion protection. Available in multimetal formulations and various roll sizes, it provides a flexible solution for diverse packaging requirements.
