ZERUST® High-Strength VCI Film utilizes advanced Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI) to safeguard metal surfaces from corrosion. The film releases invisible, odorless, and non-toxic VCI molecules that disperse throughout the enclosed space and form a protective layer on exposed metal surfaces.

Once parts are removed from the packaging, the VCI molecules dissipate naturally, leaving surfaces clean and ready for immediate painting, welding, or further processing. This eliminates the need for cleaning or degreasing prior to use.

In addition to corrosion protection, this High-Strength VCI Film offers enhanced mechanical performance compared to standard polyethylene films. Its increased strength and puncture resistance make it ideal for packaging heavy parts or components with sharp edges, reducing the risk of tears and damage during handling and transport.

ZERUST® High-Strength VCI Film is available in ferrous, non-ferrous, and multimetal protection formulations to meet a variety of application needs. It can be supplied in multiple formats, including rolls, sheets, tubing, and bags, providing flexibility across manufacturing, storage, and export applications.

For enhanced protection in aggressive environments, this film can be used in combination with ZERUST® rust preventatives, coatings, or VCI emitter products. Custom options such as flame-retardant properties, UV stabilizers, acid-gas protection, and anti-static additives are available to meet specific performance requirements.
